Pregnancy Highlights:
How far along: 13 weeks
Maternity Clothes: yep. Pants most definitely!
Best Moment recently: getting to see our baby via ultrasound!
Movement: Not yet.
Food Cravings: still anything unhealthy!
Sleep: still getting up about 1x a night to go to the bathroom. Started sleeping with Cora's pillow pet. It's a purple bunny and is like the perfect size! Hope she doesn't mind!
Symptoms: still been pretty tired. Hoping energy picks up now that I'm out of the first trimester!
Doctor Visits: I went on the 17th to see Frieda Tucker, a midwife. She was so nice! They were not able to find a heartbeat with the doppler so they did another ultrasound. I actually wasn't too worried since I had just had the appt at the pregnancy center. It was still great to see the baby again! Just wish William hadn't missed it! Also had some more bleeding and went to the doctor again around the 30th. I saw Dr. Stephenson and he was great. He did an ultrasound and found a blood clot in my uterus. Right now, we aren't sure what this means. Everything could and probably will be find, he just wants to keep an eye on it! So we are asking everyone to pray for this little one! Even though I was told there was nothing I could do to help or hurt the baby, I am still worried! But God is big and in control and He is capable in keeping us safe!

Cora's award
Cora is now a "Paul Harris Fellow"! My dad is very involved in his local Rotary Club and a few years ago, he presented myself and my siblings and my sisters son this same award. Of course, he had to do the same for Cora. So we had a great dinner out and got to see some families I grew up with and Cora did pretty well considering it was way past her bedtime. I know my dad is proud of his little granddaughter!

Daffodil Field 2011
There is a great place in town to take pictures! It's called the Daffodil Field. Now you have to catch it at the right time, usually in early March. We took Cora out there in her flower girl dress to get some fun pictures! It was alot different than last year - she wasn't quite walking yet. This year, she was running everywhere! So I had to kind of make sure she didn't fall in any holes while William grabbed these shots. We just think she is beautiful and I think everyone who sees them will have a hard time disagreeing!

Presenting Baby Bell #2
We were so blessed to be able to go to the Carolina Pregnancy Center today for a free ultrasound! I've written about this great center before - it's a crisis pregnancy center here in town that helps many women with free services. We love supporting it. They recently received a brand new ultrasound machine from a donor and were needing to do scans to practice! I happily volunteered!
Earlier in the week I had a little scare with some bleeding. Since I hadn't been to the Dr. yet and heard a heartbeat, I was really unsure as to what the ultrasound would show. Thankfully the first thing they told me was they heard a heart beat! That news was music to my ears and I was so thankful to God for that precious sound.
Fun memories from the visit: Since they were training, there were ALOT of people in the room and the room was tiny. It was funny hearing all the things they kept saying. For example, "Here is her bladder." "It is really full." "Am I pushing to hard?" "Do you need to go the restroom?" and my all time favorite, "She has gas, see the bubbles right here." It was quite humorous. We got lots of fun pics and a video of our little one moving around.
Seeing these pictures just reminds me of how great God is!

Belly Shot at 9 weeks
Pregnancy Highlights:
How far along: 9 weeks.
Maternity Clothes: A little. The waist is definitely getting bigger quicker this time around!
Best moment this week: We are telling our families this week! Tomorrow is William's birthday so we will be traveling to see his parents and will tell them all together! Told my side today and everyone is excited.
Gender: I think maybe boy and William does not have any idea. I would like to keep it a surprise, but William is against it.
Movement: Not yet.
Food Cravings: Yes. Pizza. Fast food. Anything unhealthy!
Sleep: Waking up about 1x a night to go to the bathroom.
Symptoms: Pretty tired. Probably has something to do with following Cora around. I nap when she does! Haven't been sick so I am thankful for that!
