Dentist Day!

William and I had our "Dentist Day" today! What is a "dentist day" you ask? Well, it is the day we have our dentist appointments. I know, exciting! To make it exciting and something we look forward to, we started taking the day off of work and treating ourselves to a nice place for lunch and also walking around downtown. Our dentist is in New Bern, about 1 hour away from Greenville so we wanted to make it worth the drive.


We started off by seeing my dad in V-boro, which we drive by on the way to New Bern. We visited for a few minutes and then met our friend Dayton for a late breakfast! He lives in New Bern now so it's always a treat to see him. After that, we had a little time to kill so we stopped by Union Point for some pictures and playtime with the bears of New Bern. They have bear statues everywhere so we had to get a photo with them!

Next, it was time for our appointment.  As luck would have it, there was a drop in child care place (Play Date), less than a mile away from the office so she could play there while we got our teeth cleaned!  *Breath sigh of relief now*  I was really worried how we were going to control her during the appointment but God worked this all out and she had a great time and we didn't have to find a new dentist after subjecting the office to our curious 2 year old!

 

I guess "Dentist Days" will never be the same as Cora will now be joining us for cleanings!  Something to look forward to in 6 months!  Oh and in case you were wondering - We had no cavities!!  Yeah!
