Poor sick baby!!

Of course, the same weekend that we find out we are pregnant, Cora gets the stomach bug!! So if I wasn't having any symptoms before, I was now! But I think all my queasiness came from her being sick! It took her a few days to get over it. She spent most of her time watching videos and trying to nap. I thought about this day alot and when I did think about it, I was so fearful. I hate feeling this way so I wasn't sure how I would handle if my child was sick. I am thankful to say that my "mommy" instincts kicked in and I couldn't have loved this child any more. Even covered in sick, I held her and comforted her! I can honestly say, I'm a mom now!!



I was so worried about her getting dehydrated. She really wanted to drink her milk but that was the one thing she couldn't have so the only thing she would drink was ice chips. Here she is munching on some.




William came up with a new hairstyle for her! It really helped keep her hair from getting too dirty!

poor baby! All she really wanted to do was lay around and watch "The Incredibles"! So thankful she is doing better again!

From three to four!!

We are really excited to announce that we are expecting another baby! We have been trying for a few months and God has decided to bless us with another child. Even though we were trying, I'm still surprised to be pregnant, isn't that funny? Right now I feel pretty good, not having any symptoms. I never got sick with Cora so I hope this pregnancy is the same. I think we are hoping for a little brother for Cora because both of our families went girl, boy, girl but all we know is girl so I think we would be fine either way! All we want it to be is happy and healthy!

Here I am trying to figure out how far along I am! I think I'm around 4 weeks and my due date is the beginning of October!

Another Super Double Deal!!

It was another "super doubles" week at Harris Teeter! I thought I did okay this time - I got all of this for $12.81. We have been enjoying all the soup with this cold weather we have been having!

I'm really happy that Cora is enjoying her play kitchen and pretend food! Probably her favorite thing is her plastic plates, cups and utensils. She enjoys pulling them out and sitting at the big table, pretending to eat. It cracks me up, seeing what she puts on her plate. Of course, she shares with mommy and daddy.

Happy New Year 2011!!

As I've said in earlier posts, William and I were involved with Campus Crusade for Christ at ECU. We developed some amazing friendships, which are still going strong even after college. That's the bond of Christ for you!


For New Years eve, we were invited to a party at The Radeez's house in Raleigh. It was a get together for everyone to see The Henderson's, who live in Connecticut. They were down in NC visiting family for Christmas. It was wonderful getting to see them and also a lot of other friends!



My first Bible study at ECU. From left to right, it's Erica, myself, Beth and Rachel. We are only missing 1 girl, Amy E. It's pretty neat seeing all God has done in our lives over the years. Some pretty intense stuff between the 4 of us but God has been so faithful to us all.

A lot of us have started our families so it was neat seeing all our kids play together. Kind of crazy but fun as well. We kept Cora up a little later than usual, probably not a good idea as she woke up an hour earlier the next day!
